And while there is a reason for her to not trust this character, I felt Kalllia’s prejudice, anger, and fear of him were somewhat misplaced. When things start happening, her first instinct is to place 100% of the blame on a character we hardly see. Feisty, determined, powerful–but sometimes too short-sighted for her own good. Kallia must keep her wits about her and her skills sharp if she wants to make it to the end of the show. And if fighting their prejudice wasn’t bad enough, something is happening to the competitors, knocking them out of the running prematurely. Women aren’t supposed to be stage magicians, and every other competitor, judge, and authority figure makes her know it. But the town of Glorian isn’t perfect, and Kallia has an uphill battle to fight. So when she discovers that the mysterious town she’s only seen from a distance is hosting a competition for the Conquering Circus, one that will cement the next headliner, she plans her escape and makes her way there. But Kallia isn’t satisfied with being locked behind the walls of the House, performing for the same people who visit the club each week.

With her fiery personality and amazing skills, she was born to take the stage, and at Hell House, she’s the main attraction.
